Mr. McShane is a math teacher currently providing instruction to students of A.P. Statistics, Honors Statistics, and Algebra I. A graduate of the College of William and Mary (B.A. in Philosophy) and Montclair State University (Master of Arts in Teaching), he holds certification in secondary mathematics and technology. While serving primarily in the past as a public-school teacher at Jersey City (middle school math), Ridgewood High School (A.P. Computer Science), and Glen Ridge High School (A.P. Calculus), he traces his inspiration to choose teaching as a career to his early days at Paramus Catholic Girls High School. While not preparing lessons, he enjoys playing guitar, travel, researching his family’s Irish history, and spending time with his two children. |
