Sister Marianne McCann, MPF, has dedicated her life to Catholic education and the mission of the Religious Teachers Filippini. She served as Principal of Paul VI High School in New Jersey for 21 years, following her role as Vice Principal, and also taught in the school’s English Department. Her commitment to Catholic education has been recognized with the Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice Medal and the Meritorious Service to the Church of Camden Award. She has held numerous leadership roles within the Filippini community, including Provincial Councilor and Provincial Secretary, and in 2025 was named Provincial Superior of the Religious Teachers Filippini. Effective Spring 2026, Sister Marianne also began serving as Interim President of Villa Walsh Academy, bringing decades of experience, wisdom, and compassionate leadership to the school community. Deeply committed to the mission of St. Lucy Filippini, Sister Marianne is passionate about empowering young women to grow in faith, discover their purpose, and become leaders in the world. She looks forward to building meaningful relationships with Villa Walsh students, families, faculty, staff, and alumnae as she continues to serve and strengthen the Villa Walsh community. |
